This is a segment of the hugely successful 1km Sowerby Park & Sports Village Active Track installed in 2020 and a model for what we would like to achieve at Whitemans Green.
We are working with an architect Re:Form, recommended by England Athletics, who have previously worked on Sowerby. Re:Form have provided some initial drawings that will allow us to gather costings from landscape contractors to discuss with MSDC.
England Athletics are currently helping us progress a pre-application description of our initiative with other interested sporting bodies to ensure that we have broad support from all the sports teams involved before taking contractor estimates to the next stage.
